Classes

This class is designed to focus on intermediate/advanced tap and jazz skills. The length of this class depends on the

age/skill level of the class. Students in these

classes are training to be Starsteppers,

which are the most advanced dancers at

The Dance Shoppe.

A class that focuses strictly on ballet

and pointe technique. This class offers

barre, floor work and ballet

choreography. A dress code of black

leotard, pink tights, and ballet shoes or pointe shoes is required for this class.

This class is designed for age 6 and

older to prepare students for the

advanced pointe class. A dress code of

black leotard, pink tights and pink ballets is required, but pointe shoes will not be needed until advanced pointe class.

Incorporating ballet, jazz and contemporary dance styles while developing emotional connection to the music. Experience in Jazz and ballet is strongly recommended.

Our gymnastic/tumbling classes are offered in 45 minute to 1 hour lengths. These classes offer a variety of stretching, drills, and gym skills based on the skill level of the class. We try to offer two instructors for each gym class so that each student gets the most out of the timne they are in class.  These classes are held in our new state-of-the-Art gymnastics facility.

This 45 minute class is designed for 2-4

year olds. The class consists of tap, jazz,

ballet, and gymnastics instruction. This

is a great introduction class for your

little one to learn the basics and have

fun.

This class involves movements that are a combination of difficult feats of balance, agility, flexibility and coordination.  This is a great class for anyone interested in high school and college level dance teams.

Our hip-hop is a forty five minute upbeat and high energy class.  Hip-hop skills will be taught in a variety of ways including floor work, traveling hip-hop and hip-hop combos that vary in each class.

Our newest class offered is the Mommy and Me class. All that is required is that the child is able to walk.  Mommy or Daddy must attend and participate in class. (no experience necessary)  These classes offer the first step towards your child learning dance instruction on their own among their peers. 

The Dynamos All Stars is an all-star competitive cheer program that we offer at The Dance Shoppe.  The Dynamos are in their 9th season and have won several championships. You can email Zach@danceshoppeinc.com for more information.

We have an Adult tap class available. No experience necessary. This is a fun exciting class for any adult who wants to learn to tap dance.
